U.B. Funkeys was one of the first entries into the "Virtual Worlds" era of video games. It won "Electronic Toy of the Year"  in 2009.

As the Senior Director of Design at Arkadium I created the branding, style, and much of the design and UI for their series of “Daily” Games including Crossword, Sudoku, Jigsaw, and Word Search. These games appear on top media outlets websites including The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, and Newsday. It is the #2 online Crossword after the NYT. It is worthwhile to note that while I am proud that these games still retain their initial design I helped create, these games in their current form contain retention features that I did not design.

Based on our hit Microsoft game by the same name, Taptiles Saga was a Facebook game with many engaging characters, an engaging storyline, and hours of innovative gameplay.

Headkicker 2 is a tongue-in-cheek side-scrolling beat-em-up featuring Brak and his surly alien buddy Zorak, who must fight their way through 6 levels of relentless enemies in order to rescue Brak’s mom from slimy arch villain Mobab. With it’s terribly perfect pixelated graphics, over the top hand to hand combat, and hilarious non-sequiturs, Headkicker 2 has the same relationship to classic videogames as the Brak Show has to classic sitcoms. As Brak himself might say: “Thank you, magic toenail! I salute you.”

A simple puzzle game with expanding pieces and soaring scores. You’ll constantly be uncovering new strategies with pieces that can change size and shape.

The place?  The Law Offices of Sebben & Sebben. The mood? MAYHEM. There’s only one egg salad sandwich left, and everybody wants it. Choose your character and do battle in a fully breakable environment, using your wits and a fair amount of senseless violence to secure the delectable dish for your very own.

VH1 Divatron, or Divas Duets was a Donkey Kong clone. The concept was to get your Diva up to the main stage while dodging security, paparazzi, and crazed fans, to put the currently performing diva in her place as the warm up act!

Iron and Flame was a Fullmetal Alchemist flash game formerly hosted on the [adult swim] website. The player was able to control both Edward and Alphonse Elric, who were sent by Roy Mustang to destroy the last of Shou Tucker's remaining chimeras.

Making this game definitely got me some cool points with the kids.

When we were approached by JWT to create a game that would help Dannon launch their new smoothie drink, Frusion, we leapt at the chance to create a game where you beat breakfast foods senseless. Who wouldn’t, really? The result, Breakfast Brawl, a wildly popular advergame. And keep in mind this sage bit of wisdom one fan has when dealing with your opponents: “I punched him a lot and didn’t let him punch me.” Very wise advice, iKickBagels, very wise indeed.

This was an adventure game for the Nickelodeon show. In writing this description I did a little research to refresh my memory and was startled to find a number of people claiming this was one of their favorite games of all time! People are even making memes of it to this day? Maybe I will have to play it again!

It's a platformer, where you guide S&M enthusiasts Sadie and Max through a treacherous maze of levels (6 in all), fending off attacks from wandering dungeon-dwellers and mechanical pleasure-bots.

“Remember back when you were a kid, and you would spend whole summers just finding dead bodies in the woods and pushing them down the river, laughing and high-fiving with your friends? It's time you get that feeling back. Floater lets you relive the magic of sending some unfortunate drifter down the great river one last time, as you poke and prod him through the rapids into one final waterfall of memories.”

Stunt Armadillos was Arkadium’s effort to make an Angry Birds-style launching game.

The Spectacular Stunt Armadillos led by Max Moonshot are a team of extreme sports junkies who have created a new extreme sport, Dillo Flippin’, that has captivated the other animals in town.  Everyone loves Dillo Flippin’… well everyone except the Flying Dragons, a gang of shifty extreme athletes who are jealous of the Daredillo’s act and will stop at nothing to run them out of town and remain #1!

It's a cat-tastrophe of cat-aclysmic proportions! When one cat nation suffers a grave injustice from another cat nation there's usually only one option: to take up arms! Load your water guns and battle your foes to the finish in this hilarious and addicting match strategy game! Make matches to earn resources and build the greatest cat army your feline foes have ever seen. Leave scores of soaked, miserable kitties in your wake as you try to drench and ultimately embarrass the despicable King Whiskers. It's a game unlike any other, and you have to play it to believe it!

This game is significant because it was one of the first geo-located games, and is a great example of one of the more innovative projects I have had the opportunity to work on.

It was before the era of smart phones, and you controlled the character (in a land of zombies with a comically large brain) by running around in the real world. Definitely needed to be played in a big field.

This match 3 game is unlike anything you have played before. Everyone is out at the beach and it's up to you to keep the party going. Serve thirsty customers and make your juice bar the hottest thing on the beach.

This was a game to advertise a VH1 special. I was really proud of my pixel caricatures of ZZ Top, Heart, Genesis, and Ozzy Osbourne!

The Dudesons are apparently a scandinavian version of the show “jackass”. This was advertising the show with a “launcher” type game.

Rethink puzzle games with tiles that swap and slide through the grid. But look out because when they touch a matching tile, they will merge into new shapes. Comparable to Klotski for its unique piece navigation challenges, Match and Merge has over 150 levels of replayable puzzles with new and familiar game obstacles.

Before the Global Game Jam, some friends and I spoke at a Casual Connect convention in Kiev, Ukraine. We asked the audience for random prompts and using them made a game in exactly 24 hours. The result was this: Gothic Nightmare in Crazytown! It featured three fully animated cut scenes! It was amazing! I can’t entirely remember the premise, but something about getting this fishe’s extremely sweaty girlfriend the ingredients for a taco.

An awesome game about putting together sandwiches in a food truck!

This was a whole suite of game for the CBN broadcasting network.

Global Game Jam game for 2022 I think? It was a fighting game, but the idea is that you start the game off completely beat up and you have to be the first one to heal the other player up to full health.

You play as a Phlebotomist, a Podiatrist, a Optometrist, or an Anesthesiologist.

I love the style of these comic books and it was fun to draw like this. Help the Bone cousins make their way through the woods using a slingshot and pellets to fend off the bad guys.

This game is interesting because I made this game on my own, not for another company. It looks pretty dated, but whatever!

Ok, this is the first mobile game I ever made! It was made for flip phones before smart phones existed! I think we had just a couple of hundred k of memory to work with for the whole thing! Its a standard golf game themed for Caddyshack.
