VAULT: Understanding Money

Vault is a gamified financial education course for elementary schools from Everfi. The course follows the adventures of five friends who become trapped in an interdimensional vortex. The vortex takes them from one strange and interesting dimension to another. In order to move to the next dimension the friends must help the inhabitants of those dimensions overcome various financial situations.

The Vortex first takes our friends to the strange yet familiar land of the Genies. Up until now the genies could just wish for whatever they wanted, but now something has happened to their magical abilities and they must make decisions based on limited means. How can Gene the Genie get a real toy train set when his magical abilities don’t work?! Take the course to find out.

Module 2: Spending and Saving
Next the Vortex takes the friends to a fantastical futuristic sky city. They meet a kid in this new dimension named Jet Turbeaux who uses a hoverbike to get around the city in the sky. Unfortunately her hoverbike is broken and she can’t afford to fix it! How will the heroes get out of this one!? Take the course to find out!
Module 3: Income and Careers
Now the Vortex takes the friends into a super hero world within the pages of a comic book! How will they get out of this one!? Sparky the superhero works at a superhero employment agency. Unfortunately all of the heroes that he has placed can’t stand the work that Sparky has found for them. Let’s see if our friends can help Sparky out with this!
Module 4: Credit and Borrowing
The friends now find themselves in a treetop village inhabited by animals. They must help Karie Koolewong the Koala figure out how to get anew tree house that is much more expensive than she has cash for. Will Karie be able to build her fantasy tree house? Take the course to find out!
Module 5: Future Planning
The final challenge for the friends finds them underwater! Good thing the portal appears to have created a bubble of air for them to breathe in this new environment. Here in this undersea domain the friends must help the aquatic Prince Azul plan for the future.
